Week 32 in the Premier League

Oh, the round after the quarterfinals in the Champions League. Arsenal and Manchester are OK, with good chances to go through, Chelsea is almost in the semies, while Liverpool are pretty much gone! And that means, they are very much shaken up and out of the title race in England!

Liverpool v Blackburn - In my oppinion, the game that is going to knock Liverpool down. Sam Alardice is going to go on Anfield with 15 people in defence (including the physios), and I have a feeling that the luck has ran out. 0:0, maybe if the dice are rolled properly, even an away win for the Rovers!

Chelsea v Bolton - Bolton had a great game last time, and Chelsea just crushed Liverpool. I think an easy home win, 2 or 3 to 0!

Middlesbrough v Hull City - A home team in chrisis, and an away team in a decaying form. A boring draw can be expected.

Portsmouth v West Brom - No contest here. West Brom are out of the league, and now are working on damage control! 3:0 easy!

Sunderland v Man Utd - Should be an easy away win. 0:2!

Tottenham v West Ham - A London darby. A 0:2! I hope, at least.

Wigan v Arsenal - 0:4, that's all I'm going to say!

Stoke City v Newcastle - Are we gonna wave Newcastle goodbye? Yes, I think so. 2 or 3:0!

Aston Villa v Everton - A tough match. A battle for the 5-th place. It smells like a draw. I just hope with some goals.

Man City v Fulham - A surprising away win would be fun! 0:2.

Week 31 in the Premier League

This round is gonna come after the break for the internationals, so some good and some bad streaks are going to be broken. Lucky for some, unlucky for others. But, what can you do. Let's take it one by one.

Blackburn v Tottenham - I would love to see the Tots lose badly. You know, just for the sake of it. But, Blacburn are in such a bad shape, that I'm uncertain what will happen. Maybe we'll get lucky and a draw will come out on the horizon. A 0:0 would be lovely

Arsenal v Man City - Oh, the sweetnes of revenge. The money hungry City players are coming to Arsenal's ground, to be punished for the lucky win over at City Stadium. No doubt, 4:0!

Bolton v Middlesbrough - This, ladies and gents is a clear and obvious goalless draw! 0:0!

Hull City v Portsmouth - After the stuff Hull's manager has been spiting out, I don't find them charming any more. I hope they lose to Pompey. They won't, but I hope they do. 1:1 prediction.

Newcastle v Chelsea - Good bye Toon. I hope you have a nice life in the Championship Division. It's about time that they dropped out, so they'll come to their senses, and realize what year it is. Maybe someday they'll come back, but I doubt it, and I wish they don't. 0:2 at the very minimum.

West Brom v Stoke City - Stoke is taking this one and sinking the Brom even deeper. 0:2 perhaps even 0:3.

West Ham v Sunderland - There will be a lot of goals in this one. I think somewhere around 5 or 6. I think that both defences suck, so it will end with a result like 3:2, 4:2 or 3:3. Hard to tell really.

Fulham v Liverpool - Fulham are a tough nut to crack this year. A lot of big teams fell at the Cotage, Arsenal and Man Utd. included. Hopefuly the short break will be enough to end the streak of Liverpool, and ensure at least a draw. 0:0 would be best for everyone.

Everton v Wigan - A battle of two teams that are high on the league table. Damn it, it could end with no goals, but then, it can have 3 or 4. I can't tell, but am going with a prediction of 1:0 win for the home team.

Man Utd v Aston Villa - I think it's about time that Man Utd find their mojo and start wining again or else Liverpool is taking the title, and no one wants that. And what better team to beat down at the moment, than Aston Villa. 4:0 for the Devils.

Week 29 in the Premier League

Yes, I did skip a couple of rounds, but that is only because I had some personal issues. I promise, from now on, I'll try to be regular as clockwork!

  • Man Utd v Liverpool - They call this game the big northern derby. It was so before the Liverpoolians lost their mojo. Now it's just gonna be another sure win for Manchester, or a boring draw at best.
  • Arsenal v Blackburn - Another sure win for Arsenal. Or at least it should be. It'll be more clear after the FA cup match against Burnley.
  • Bolton v Fulham - Boring draw, undoubtedly. 0:0!
  • Everton v Stoke City - Should be a win for Everton, but you never know, now that Arteta is out of the picture, they started playing some shitty football.
  • Hull City v Newcastle - I hope that Newcastle finaly drop out of the leauge. Maybe that will make them take things more seriously! 1:0
  • Middlesbrough v Portsmouth - Should be a boring draw. Goalless!
  • Sunderland v Wigan - I predict that the northerners are going to take this one, and take it good, like 2 or 3 to 0!
  • Chelsea v Man City - One more boring draw on the horizon.
  • Aston Villa v Tottenham - Mixed fealings about this one. Hope that it ends with a 0:0.
  • West Ham v West Brom - I don't know if it's just me, but I see another boring draw. It might be the most boring round, or the most interesting. We'll see.

Week 26 in the Premier League

The match-ups for this round are:

  • Aston Villa v Chelsea - Sure win for Aston Villa. The Russians are on the verge of a club brake down. Many people don't want Villa to win, but the cruel reality is that it will happen. My prediction is a tight win, 1:0 or maybe 2:1. Gus Hiddink is not a magician and therefore, I don't think he can stop a ship that is sinking and fast. Best outcome for the CSKA London team would be a boring draw. So, they can only hope.
  • Arsenal v Sunderland - A clear victory for the Gunners! I won't be surprised if it happens to be 4:0 per say. New signing Arshavin is suppose to make his debut and Arsenal can't afford to drop any more points. So, don't expect anything less than a struggle to the last breath!
  • Bolton v West Ham - Zola's boys showed some impresive football in the past few rounds even if they have one of the smallest budgets in the League, still they don't give up. The kid that scored at almost every game is down injured, so I won't be surprised if they go to Bolton for a safe and boring draw. My prediction 0:0!
  • Middlesbrough v Wigan - This game will be one of those that can go both ways. Wigan are the surprise of the season, they are unusualy high on the table at this point (7th) and don't seem to be letting go. But, on the other hand Middlesbrough are battleing for survival, and injured animals are the most dangerous. Still, I'd go with a 0:0 prediction.
  • Stoke City v Portsmouth - Stoke are still lingering around the relegation zone, and Pompey aren't that far up them selves. They have a new manager just for that reason. Tony Adams was sacked and after Paul Hart took over, thay are off to a good start. They beat money pumped City in a back game, and go to visit Stoke with high hopes, and highly motivated. I would have to say 0:2!
  • Man Utd v Blackburn - It'll be a tight, but sure win for Manchester. Most likely 1:0 or 2:0.
  • Fulham v West Brom - Fulham is one of the pleasent surprises of the season. They showed an unusaly tight defense in the past couple of weeks (with the exeption of the last game, of course), and knowing the state that West Brom are in, I'd say that a 0:0 is a sure bet, and if luck is on their side, a 1:0 win for the Cottagers.
  • Liverpool v Man City - Liverpool have always been one of the most boring teams to watch (since I am watching football) and one of the most unconsistent ones. I am expecting them to slip up and fast. Maybe City isn't exactly the team to do it against, but it'll be close. At most, there will be one goal in this game. Which way will it go? I have no idea!
  • Newcastle v Everton - I'd have to say a sure win for Everton. 0:2 at the very least. Newcastle don't belong in the Premiership. Haven't belonged in a while now.
  • Hull City v Tottenham - Hull is a tough nut to crack. Tottengam on the other are not. My prediction is 1:0 for the Tigars!
So, place your bets, and wait for football!
